Let's go golfing.

The golf club has two small pieces so be careful not to lose them. Remember, the bigger the cut the easier it will be to put together.
All of the golf items come in a zip folder, download here.

DIY Mini erase board

Supplies I used

-Cereal box
-adhesive magnets (found at craft stores)
-scrapping paper
-embellishments
-Zig glue and tape
-sheet protectors/transparancies or clear plastic wrap--->works the best in my opinion)

Cut out the shape you want from the box, paper and the sheet protector. Decorate the paper first, try not to make it too bulky since the sheet protector still has to go on top. Try finding some ribbon or brad to secure the sheet protector to the scrapping paper without the tape/adhesive showing up. If you use the clear plastic wrap all you need to do is cut it out and smooth it on top of the scrap paper, the static from the plastic and the paper will automatically keep it together. Glue paper to the shape you cut out from the box and add the magnets on the back. This is just a simple one I made, I'm planning on making others with a contraption for the dry erase marker. Now my cereal boxes have another purpose in life...

Testing 1,2,3

Just making sure these cut nicely. Don't make them too small or they won't cut well and if you are making them small make sure you use thin cardstock.

1920's flapper

Wow...this was fun but frustrating to make. It has 5 pieces and the dress and headband are grouped together as are the head and shoes, hopefully that will make it easier to cut.

Boys...

So I think I'm going to start making boy related svg's because there's only so many flowers and glitter you can put on a man's scrapbook page...lol. So here is my first
one. The buttons on the control are not included, I figured scrappers would have lots of circle scraps laying around or other embellishments they might want to use for the buttons...for example brads or stickers. Download here.

Get Well Package

I made a get well package for my significant other. He is sick and we live a few hours apart so I am sending this hoping it puts a smile on his face.

Nurse Penny's hat, syringe, cross and band-aid were all made/retouched on inkscape and cut on scal. If anyone wants the files please leave a comment.

Cutting Fabric

I've cut fabric before but it didn't really cut all the way and/or moved from the cutting mat. This time I prepared the fabric differently and it cut beautifully. Make sure your blade is sharp!

Items Used:
-Heat N Bond Iron-on Adhesive
-Thin fabric
-Starch
-Iron

This time I removed the backing off of the heat and bond after it had been ironed on to the fabric, this way it stuck more to the mat and did not move. I also put the blade on 6 and pressure on max. My mat was also semi new because I have only used it a few times since I bought it. Can't wait to make totebags w/ my iron ons! Here are some pics. If you have any questions please leave them on the comments.

I cut a damask letter.....

So I decided to cut a damask letter I had made to see how it turned out. I think it came out pretty but I will definitely be making them much bigger. I used adhesive cardstock for the letter.

So what do you guys think?

Finally I have scal!

So I got my scal today and this is my first cut! How cute and retro is this? My lighting sucks but they are still super cute! I used the retro bathing suit file and added a little brad for the belt buckle.
